For EYX009 London based producer Tooth Rust steps out to follow up her breakout release on Cherce Encore ‘Striae’ in 2021.

The producer from London debuts on Early Reflex with the experimental downtempo three-tracker ‘Glut’, which blends both organic matter and artificial elements yet thinking about the club.

The enchanted opener ‘Gyre’ swallows immediately the listener into Tooth Rust’s cosmic vortex of eerie sounds, mournful chorus and marching snare drums. The relentlessly hypnotising kick drum and its rhythmic session do their job delivering a spell-casting club tool.

The journey into Tooth Rust’s magical world segues with ’Hand Doll’ where an headbanging rhythmic session and a battlefield of laser syncopated percussions come into play to destabilise the order of the dancefloor.

Alternated rhythmics and melodic synthesizer mix together in ‘Sing Gaily’, the closing track of the EP, where the producer brings together all the core elements characterising her recent work into a melancholic downtempo outro.
